A Brave New World!

so here I am, back from the heart of darkness! Three weeks in Zimbabwe really does give you perspective on the state of play in this part of the world. you have to wonder what all the fuss is about. If it really all that important whether Charlie & Camilla tied the knot or not?

travelling gets me thinking about how easy it is to fall into a rut in the humdrum of everyday life. Despite the fact that it's not the easiest process in the world for me it's quite rewarding to get it done. It also adds some weight to the question "what's the worst that can happen?", because despite the odds it seldom does. So the next little while is going to be an interesting time while I attempt to unravel the strands that seem to have got so tangled up over the last couple of years, lay them out on the table and work out which direction they are pointing in. Who knows, perhaps they will end up pointing backwards but we'll just have to wait and see!

By the way, did I mention that this is a cold country?
